Koufax, the lefty, and Drysdale, the righty, were the most dominant 1-2 pitching punch in Los Angeles history and, perhaps, ever in modern baseball history. During a five-year period, from 1962-66, Koufax and Drysdale combined for 209 wins, 53 shutouts and 4 Cy Young Awards. Koufax also threw 4 no hitters, including a perfect game, during that time. They were also members of three World Series title teams in Los Angeles in 1959, 1963 and 1965.
